A friend has managed to get myself and 7 friends on the guestlist for embassy, but iv just found out on the website that its over 21s, and we are all 18, is it worth trying anyway? x

Sorry I have to do the morally correct thing and say no no no!
Although it is essentially not over 21's by law the club maintain this policy so as to keep out the "young" faces as well as "hyper reactive teenage hooligans" (as quoted by a close friend and club owner who will remain unnamed). At the end of the day what you will find is that it can be disappointing to be turned down from ANY club even where a backup plan exists.
Best thing to do is to speak directly with the promoter or club about whether this policy will apply on the night you book as many clubs will drop this policy on certain nights of the week (but there is no need to play the club lottery with your night out).
