If you fancy going to a pub for lunch/dinner but don't want to eat, this is the place for you! My friends and I ordered and about 20 mins later the barmaid came over to tell us that my friends' choice was not available. They selected something else and about 30 mins later their meals arrived. Despite having ordered nearly an hour ago, my meal did not turn up. When I asked at the bar it seemed that the barmaid had not recognised me and given my meal to someone else (even thought they'd given us an order number to display on our table at the bar).
I ended up getting my money back and having a packet of crisps for lunch. Yum. If this pub wants to survive they should sack the incompetent pink/black haired barmaid who can't seem to relay simple instructions to the kitchen.

The Henry Addington hosts an enormous J-shaped bar with games machines and televisions. Live entertainment with 60's and 70's music as well as Rock 'n' Roll and Disco music is provided in the evenings from Wednesday to Friday. They serve a variety of homemade English food and offer a range of tempting desserts. Catering for private parties of up to 100 people is available upon request.
