New season pizzas

Franco Manca's new summer menu

The arrival of summer can only mean one thing – the appearance of some new seasonal ingredients at Franco Manca’s three celebrated pizzerias in Chiswick, Brixton and Westfield Stratford City.

Organic single estate tomatoes together with courgettes, both imported from Italy and Spain to start with but from England later in the season, are set to make their debut at Franco Manca next month.

In addition, Franco Manca is delighted to announce that it has become the first UK importer of a product that has been a well kept secret in Italy since the 14th century. On 1,000 acres of forest near Siena, Scorgiano Organic Farm rears rare Cinta Senese pigs in the wild. It is from these pigs that the farm produces a delicious ham aged for a minimum of two years. This Italian-style Iberico now makes its debut as part of a sharing mixed platter of charcuterie that has just landed at Chiswick priced at only £7.35.

New on the pizza menu at Franco Manca Westfield meanwhile is an enticing medley of spicy lamb, Franco & Lloyd organic Somerset pecorino, mozzarella and tomato. Not wishing to be outdone, Chiswick and Brixton have something special up their collective sleeves, namely a new addition that boasts a fabulous combo of courgettes, seasonal basil, buffalo ricotta and Franco & Lloyd organic Somerset pecorino.

These latest kids on the block complement Franco Manca’s existing repertoire of mouth-watering pizzas - the most authentic sourdough creations to be found outside Naples.
