Downright Bloody Bloodshot menu launches at Barts

As the January detox kicks in, Chelsea speakeasy bar Barts are proud to unveil the queen of hangover cures in the form of an entire menu dedicated to the Bloodshot Bloody Mary, with some truly innovative tipples guaranteed to be the answer to all our prayers.

The drinks on The Bloodshot Bloody Mary Menu are made with Bloodshot Vodka, an artisan liqueur created from over twenty different ingredients, that makes a perfectly spiced Bloody Mary every time. The drinks served at Barts will have suitably sanguine names such as Mary Tudor, Bloody Liability, The Devil’s Punchbowl and, for the purists, the original recipe, Bloodshot Mary.

The Mary Tudor is a devilish blend of Bloodshot, Rose Jam, Fresh Lemon Juice, Sugar Syrup and served with a garnish of Rose Jam on Toast. One cocktail that guests will feel obliged to try, is the Bloody Liability, a heady mix of Belvedere Vodka, Bloodshot, Fresh Beetroot, Fresh lemon Juice, Honey and a garnish of Green Salad topped with Beetroot and Parmesan Shavings. For those seeking a drink that is truly out of this world; try The Devil’s Punchbowl, a warm drink served in a teacup and saucer and made with Harvey’s Bristol Cream, Bloodshot, Merlot, Cloudy Apple Juice, Cloves, Cinnamon and Ginger with a side of Chilli Chocolate.
Barts is a quirky 'speak easy' style bar on prestigious Sloane Avenue in the heart of Chelsea. It is the brainchild of Duncan Stirling and Charlie Gilkes, the dynamic duo who also own the highly successful 80’s themed nightclub, Maggie’s. They launched Bunga Bunga, an Englishman's Italian, Bar, Pizzeria and Karaoke in Battersea last autumn to widespread acclaim.

All Hail the Bloodshot Bloody Mary: the new queen of the cocktail world.
