W London Launches New Elemis Treatments

London, January 2013: AWAY Spa at W London – Leicester Square is launching its brand new Elemis treatment menu with a New Year package to blast away the festive-season excess.

The AWAY Spa Nip/Tuck package features a series of Elemis treatments using ingredients to aid the body in cleansing and detoxifying. The Elemis Lime and Ginger Scrub, infused with skin-enriching camellia oil, starts the exfoliation process, leaving the skin cleansed and glowing. This is followed by the Elemis Body Sculpt Therapy which uses specialist abdominal, hip and thigh drainage massage techniques to smooth the appearance of cellulite, boost circulation and reduce fluid retention. A specially-created detox cocktail blending apple and celery purée, cucumber, apple juice, jasmine tea, vanilla sugar and lime juice completes the experience and aids rehydration.

Peter Lloyd, Executive Chef of Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s southeast Asian-inspired restaurant at W London, has devised a mouth-watering menu designed specifically to work hand-in-hand with AWAY Spa’s selected Elemis treatments.

The healthy small plates of the Spice Market raw bar lunch are packed full of flavour, as well as featuring ingredients with proven health benefits. Dishes include Avocado Summer Roll with Sriracha Mayonnaise; Salmon Tartare, Soy Ginger Dressing, Avocado and Radish and Spicy Thai Slaw with Asian Pear, Crispy Shallots and Mint. Whilst avocado is high in vitamin E, one of the most essential of all the protective anti-oxidants, salmon is a great source of Omega 3 essential fatty acid and ginger has a soothing antiseptic support on the body, helping to boost immunity.
