The All in One Ultimate Restaurant List Profile: Jeremy King and Chris Corbin

London’s Top 100 Restaurants 2013

Jeremy King and Chris Corbin first opened the Wolseley in 2003, an all-day restaurant styled as a European Grand Café such as those found in central Europe in the early part of the 20th century. It impressed critics and the public as much for its menu of classics like wiener schnitzel and its selection of pastries (the viennoiserie), as for its opulent Florentine-inspired interior, with marble floors and Corinthian columns. Sister restaurant the Colbert and Roast with Bluebird and the Wharf, a riverside eatery in Teddington that specialises in seafood and food cooked on the grill. If he had to make a choice between cooking for customers, family and friends, he’d choose cooking meals for his children.

Both the Wolseley and the Delaunay are new entries on our list this year, at numbers 96 and 78 respectively.
