Fall In Love

... with the food, wine and design at Café Rouge's Kingsway restaurant

The newly refurbished Café Rouge on Kingsway, Holborn is leading the way to showcase the ‘New Rouge’ and opens its doors to customers to reveal the secrets of the brand’s transformation. With many refurbishments being rolled out nationwide over the next six months and a fabulous new ‘Rejuve’ menu, it’s a total new look for Café Rouge.

Customers can expect a Paris Metro theme and authentic French heritage fused with a classic and romantic style; a marriage that is seen throughout the newly created Rejuve menu, wine list and the traditional Parisian style design of the restaurant. There are Metro themed features throughout, including beautifully decadent mirrors with ‘Kingsway’ signage. The personality of the ‘New Rouge’ welcomes visitors in the form of intricate mosaic flooring, a new dark mahogany waiter display and vintage swan necked wall lights and chandeliers setting the mood for a perfect evening.

Keane design studio has worked to produce Café Rouge’s ‘new looks’, says Brand Director Georgia Hall. Kingsway bistro has regained its former authentic design with a great bar, ornate champagne buckets, antique chandeliers, rouge leather banquettes and velvet curtains.

As one of the major north-south routes through London, Kingsway links High Holborn to Aldwych and The Strand, it’s perfect for on-the-go workers to sample apertifs, sharing platters and to finish a sumptuous dessert. Diners can choose classics such as Boeuf Bourguignon, sample a Super Salade or even try snails in a tasting pot.

Georgia Hall, Café Rouge Brand and Marketing Director comments; “Kingsway has been a journey of love and will set the standard for Café Rouge by bringing Parisian glamour and romance to central London. We have invested generously in our new menu, wine list and decadent design to create a pocket of Parisian charm that we can’t wait to reveal. Café Rouge has been transformed and the ‘New Rouge’ is painting London town a very French shade of rouge.”
