The pub has been given a facelift while keeping its traditional look and feel inside. Changes include a complete overhaul of internal and external areas, a brand new bar and a stunning skylight in the restaurant.

The Volunteer is renowned for being a great spot for lunch, a meeting place before a game at Wembley or a match at Lords. The pub is a great meeting spot in the summer, and for catching up with friends after a walk in Regents Park.

Guests can tuck into all the pub classics, A chicken and ham pie, classic fish and chips and prime steak burgers, as well as a delectable range of Sunday roasts to delight discerning guests. Along with the new food menu, guests will also be greeted with an extensive drinks’ menu, boasting a wide selection of craft beers, ciders and new to the menu – cocktails.

Speaking about the refurbishment, General Manager Robert Burrows at The Volunteer said: “We’re very happy to have finally given this grand old pub the spruce up it needed, we can’t wait to welcome back our regulars to see what they think!”

Following the extensive refurbishment and significant investment made at the pub, 8 new jobs have been created for the local area, with the team now ready to pour pints and serve delicious food to guests.
