Hailing from North London, house music’s rising DJ & Producer, N:Fostell (Nate to his Mum) is best known for his dance floor anthem “Circles” on Idris Elba’s 7 Wallace label, which also featured an Elba Remix. Currently enjoying a huge thumbs up for his bass heavy banger,”Walking Skank" featuring Scrufizzer, N:Fostell is also about to light up London’s festival season with a headline set at the Soul Session FEST on Saturday July 15th at Coledale Farm, Potters Bar, Herts (45 Minutes from London).

What’s the best thing about London?

My favourite thing about London is that anything and everything is at your disposal at any time. It’s got so much energy and different views…from festivals to sitting by the river having a beer.

What’s the worst thing about London?

The worst thing about London is how expensive it is. Living in London was already expensive but now it's getting to a point where it's unaffordable for most people & the government are constantly bringing in new restrictions which often results in fines and thus making life that much harder.

Where do you go to have fun?

It would be behind the decks of wherever I'm playing. I really enjoy playing to a crowd and we've got Soul Sessions Fest approaching shortly and I played there last year. It was a really enjoyable atmosphere with good vibes from the beginning to the end and going to be another amazing session on July 15th.

Where is the most relaxing place in town?

For me, it has to be Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square. You're just sitting down on a recliner chair watching a film and eating popcorn. It doesn't get any more relaxing than that.

Where is your favourite place for eats and drinks in London?

I really like Kenza, just off of Liverpool Street, one of the best date night spots. It's a Lebanese bar & restaurant, that has belly dancers and the food…mezes and kebabs is great as are their cocktails. It always leaves a lasting impression.

If I could change one thing about London...

I could be really generic here and say the price of everything but as I have to pick one thing in particular, it's these LTN systems being introduced nearly everywhere at the moment. They really grind my gears.

What’s your favourite club venue to play at and what makes it so special?

I love playing at Ministry Of Sound, they have one of the best sound systems around.

The song that reminds me most of London is...

Dizzee Rascal’s “I Luv U”. Everything about that track is just so London.

Tell us a London gem that everyone should know about

Little Venice around Maida Vale. It’s a lovely spot on the the canal with bars and restaurants and great to kick back in and people watch

One thing everyone should do in London is...

Be a tourist every once in a while, there's always something to go out and do. Enjoy your city.
