The Wilmington, a listed 19th Century pub, re-opened its doors on the 1st of September after undergoing a stylish refurbishment and menu overhaul. With brand-new Head Chef Jamie Cousins leading the kitchen, The Wilmington neighbours the food mecca, Exmouth Market, and is set to be the ultimate foodie destination in Clerkenwell.



With a renewed focus on celebrating the art of shared dining, The Wilmington is introducing a delectable feasting menu which will be available for pre-orders later this Autumn– ideal for sharing! From hearty Sunday roasts to an array of mouth-watering dishes designed to be enjoyed with friends and family, there is no better place to settle in for a gastronomic experience.



Also being added to the menu at the end of September, is the brand-new Sunday sharing cuts menu, served family style including Cote de boeuf, Lamb Rack, Beef Wellington, and succulent Whole roasted chicken. The Pigs in Blankets and Partridge Stuffing are the must have side orders for the ultimate family feast!



If sharing isn’t your style, The Wilmington has an unmissable selection of a la carte dishes too. The chef will be preparing Hake with cider, saucisson, peas, cavolo nero, tarragon and pommes anna, Rabbit, madeira, bacon & leek pie, and Woodland mushrooms served with rainbow chard, pickled girolles and borlotti beans – to name just a few!



The Wilmington also has a generous selection of tasty bar snacks, starters, and desserts, as well as tempting specials! Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, the dishes on the menu will be constantly evolving and updated to serve up the very best tasting seasonal ingredients for diners.



The three-week refurbishment of The Wilmington has included an interiors refresh making the stylish dining area as inviting as the menu itself. Whilst the vibrant exterior has been painted a show stopping red. Overall the refurbishment has breathed new life into the space, striking a balance between modern comfort without losing the pub's traditional charm.
