This autumn half term, youngsters will be flocking to Wembley Park – London’s most exciting new neighbourhood – to explore its natural environment and capture it on camera. Anyone and everyone under 14 is invited to share their images as part of the Wembley Park Photography Competition, which is celebrating nature in the local area.

From birds enjoying the ponds and water features dotted around the neighbourhood to insects crawling around the bug hotel in Union Park, creatures large and small can be photographic subjects for competition entries. The mature trees lining Olympic Way, fauna of Elvin Gardens or a stunning sunset over Arena Square – everything natural in the neighbourhood can be celebrated as part of the free to enter competition.

“We have a wonderfully diverse natural environment here in Wembley Park. This half term we are inviting young people to explore and appreciate that, spending time being present in nature and capturing its beauty.”
