"What we would like is for all who live, work or study in London to put their views and concerns to the consultation. It might be one issue, or they can put as many as ten issues down.
It is where the public believe that we should be prioritising our resources. There are many issues, and I will not mention any, for fear of influencing what people may put. These issues eventually go to the Commissioner and his top team. They deliberate over them and decide where more officers, money and equipment is placed over a period of time to rectify the problem.
Simply visit met.police.uk and click on 'consulting London' and see the issues raised previously. It demonstrates just how many issues there are, and how they occur all over London. Billions of pounds are spent on policing in London every year and every person has a stake in it, so please contribute."
