Purley

Despite its unsuspecting town centre, Purley is home to some of the highest earners in the UK, particularly on the Webb Estate, which is made up of lavish million pound homes. A mixture of celebrities and city bankers inhabit this area, attracted by the commutable distance to London (it takes under half an hour by train) and the vast homes surrounded by high fences, ensuring privacy. There are more affordable family homes too, as well as good schools and open spaces, although the selection of shops leaves a little to be desired, with most locals choosing to head to Croydon for their retail needs.
