Totteridge, towards the end of the northern line, is favoured by millionaire ex-footballers like David Ginola and Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger. The area is quiet and leafy, with densely populated woods, and football players and celebrities are attracted by the enormous detached properties with high security fences and tall hedges which provide privacy. On the high street there is the odd pub or two, a Waitrose and a Boots, so most people head to nearby Barnet or Finchley for shopping. Totteridge is ideal for fans of golf, cricket and the countryside, as this is a prime green belt location.
