First time visit to Leadenhall Market which dates back to the 14th Century (this is when Eton College and King's College were founded by King Henry VI) in the heart of the City of London. Despite its long history Leadenhall is an amazing indoor covered contemporary covered venue with a fantastic choice of places to eat, shop and drink. Looking for somewhere different for your next celebration or mates Night out sheltered from the rain then head to Leadenhall.
Leadenhall has been used as a film location for Harry Potter and the recent Willy Wonka Film.
We went on a Saturday just before Christmas and it was full of Festive Charm enhanced by the 19th Century architecture of Horace Jones During the week Leadenhall is a popular destination for those working in surrounding offices. Week-ends it is a mix of International Tourists and Londoners. Will definitely be going back!
