Pelangi is our local and we love it! The food is excellent and all the staff are very friendly, we usually get food to take out though. The variety of dishes is great and no matter what we seem to try it always tastes lovely!

Pelangi is our 'local' but it beats West End on quality and service.
The starters are delicious: Tempura King Prawn is light and crispy while Chicken Satay is moist and tender with plenty of fresh made sauce. Try the ribs if you've got room: portions are generous.
Malaysian specialities are their forte: Massaman Curry and Beef Rendang were delicious. The meat tender and the sauce authentic. I felt I was back in Kuala Lumpur!
Service is attentive without being pushy.
Not many covers and it's busy weekends so book ahead.
No hesitation in recommending it. Well worth an excursion to the exotic orient even if you are West London based.

The first time me and my wife went to Pelangi's, we had some Malaysian dishes as starters and it was delicious! Actually all the food we ate was delicious. The food was presented well e.g. we had a carrot sculptured into a pagoda; the effort the chefs go to! The dishes we ordered is comparable to the best restaurants in China Town and the prices we paid came to around £40.00.
The staffs are friendly and helpful and they are attentative at times but not to the point of asking you all the time if you required anything etc.
Thumbs up to Pelangi.
