Pope's Eye Steak House

I have been dining at the Pope's Eye ever since it opened and it is just perfect. Gorgeous steaks in 3 different cuts and each in several different weights, lovely hand cut chips and delicious home made puddings (don't miss the sticky toffee) and a brilliant and well priced wine list. Very friendly staff and excellent food, you cannot eat better in all London.

Have been to the Popes Eye a number of times and always enjoyed it. The quality of the steak is the best I've had in London, the chips are great as is the wine selection, however the end of meal highlight is the chocolate brownie.
Always a wonderful night & not too expensive. Enjoy it..........

A lovely local no nonsense restaurant which sells pretty much only steak and chips and salad (and desserts) and excellent wine. The variety of steak is huge though and all are juicy and cooked as per your order in front of you. They have been really helpful in the past when we have turned up late to eat too - very friendly staff. I highly recommend this if you are needing a steak fix!
