I would never never order from here in my life, so rude and aggressive. Cancelled my order soon as it was suppose to arrived when I pre ordered 3 hours in advance. Called and asked why my order was cancelled and the lady said she doesn't care and she has enough business.

What WAS a great Chinese restaurant has deteriorated into the worst in the area- surly, arrogant service and cold take-away is only part of it. Double booking without the offer of an apology and missed items are common place. but unfortunately, it is still frequented. Please Essex, go elsewhere.

Went last night for a special meal and yet again had superb food and service
Have used the restaurant for many years for both take-aways and eat-in and never had a bad meal.
Excellent personal service.

Probably the worst Chinese in the whole area and trust me we have tried many! Both me and my friend were sick after eating it! We ordered a take away and the lady on the phone kept getting the order wrong, after repeating myself 5 times she finally got it. I was told the food would arrive in 30mins, it actually arrived much sooner and smelt very strange. We were starving and ate some of it but did return one dish that smelt off! The manager argued and argued that the ingredients were all fresh and said we probably weren’t used to their style of cooking! How ridiculous if something smells off it’s off regardless of cooking style. Anyway he finally agreed to send us a fresh dish and asked that we return the ‘bad’ dish with the delivery driver. When the dish arrived for the second time it was much better but we had lost our appetite. All food was way too greasy and was smothered in salt and garlic. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, poor food, poor service and overpriced! If you’re in the area cross the road and go into the Italian opposite great food and atmosphere every time!

Visited this restaurant for the first time today and was appalled by the service. A vegetarian starter ordered arrived and after trying one, turned out to contain prawns. When questioned, the waiter said the restaurant did not serve the vegetarian dish asked for, and when shown the menu with the dish with the clearly labelled 'V' sign, shrugged and said the restaurant couldn't do it today. Why the waitress who took the orders could not have informed me of this before the dish was brought to the table I do not know. It is lucky no-one had a shellfish allergy.
When it came to the mains, another vegetarian dish ordered, advertised as vegetables with bean curd, arrived without any bean curd, and a bowl of egg fried rice failed to turn up at all. All this with sullen waiting staff just going through the motions.
Perhaps the night's meal could have been rescued by lovely food, but alas the noodles were cold and tasteless, the szechuan vegetables limp and greasy without a trace of hotness, and everything salted to death.
I urge anyone to give this place a wide berth.
Have your say
