Coral Sea Restaurant

Have used this restaurant for about 5 years now - best Chinese in petts wood/Orpington. Food is lovely - great vegetarian options & good quality meat. Like others have said the staff are amazing - so lovely especially with children who visit :)
Totally recommend eat in it take out!

I've been visiting Coral Sea since I moved to Petts Wood a few years ago - mainly using the takeaway service. It's definitely the best Chinese Restaurant in the local area. I'm rating the restaurant 9/10 based on loads of things, including: a brilliant, wide range of dishes, really high quality ingredients (ie good quality meat, fresh veg etc), and good prices. The other thing that really sets Coral Sea apart are the people who work there. They're all really friendly and cheerful and always give a really high quality of service.

I have tried several local Chinese take-aways in the area. This one is by far the best. The food is always quick to be delivered and hot. It tastes great and is reasonably priced. I have used the restaraunt many times and never had any problems at all. The delivery boxes are quite often slightly damaged but this is only because so much food is crammed in to them! I am not a great fan of their prawn crackers, but a very minor point considering how great the rest of the food is.
I have read the other reviews and felt that I had to defend them from the one or two bad reviews as I have always been so happy!

The good point

ordered a delivery was told that it would take 45min which was fine ,food arrived in 40 min , that where the good part ends and why i awarded four out of ten

The bad points

first of all the order was incorrect, some of the containers where dammged and the contents where cold , after reheating and attempting to consume i came across hairs in two of the dishes
contacted the restaurant and complianed and was told by a very polite lady that she was very sorry and would arraange for moor food to be sent round , as if this was a regular occurance ,would have prefered a refund

we declained as we had lost my appitite

save youself the disapointment and go else where

this restaurant gave us lovely food, the downside was the waiters/waitresses never left us alone and kept asking if our food was ok every 5 minutes but other than that was a great meal

Hi all - this restaurant has greatly improved over the last management. It is certainly better food ,loverly helpful staff - this place is worth visiting.
