The Riverside

Overall this is a bad experience and I would strongly suggest that you dont waste your time going here. This has to be the worst restaurant for service ever. The staff (especially the manager) are so rude. I have been going to this place for around 2 years and each time I go the prices go up and the portions get smaller and smaller. If you ask for something that isn't on the menu (something you have had before) the staff are very rude and will not at all accommodate at all. As I am a returning customer I am never greeted politely or happily. The restaurant is huge however there is no atmosphere at all and there are never more than 2/3 tables occupied in the evening (peak time) yet you have to sit where they seat you and never where you prefer to sit which is shocking considering there are never any other customers coming in. A simple 'hello, how are you' would really help this place. No manner and very arrogant staff. Seriously - don't bother.

Great value at lunchtime. Between Monday and Friday (12 to 2) they do a two course business lunch for £5.25. I went there with a friend and I will certainly go back. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and attentive (when I asked about adding a tip on my credit card they pointed out that it was already included - how very honest). Just a shame there weren't more people eating there. I hope they can keep this going.
