Had a fantastic dinning experience yesterday at the Royal China Club. Me and my wife had made booking based on the fact it is a sister restuarant to one we go to in the docklands.Even when we called to informed them we would be 15 minutes late the call was handled with professionalism. On arrival there, our coats and scarves were taken off us which was a nice touch. The resturant itself has a lovely ambiance with comfortable seating not clustered together. It was very warm and has soft lights and a beautiful rectangular fish tank. The timing and the service of our food ordered was absolutely perfect. Every thing we ordered tasted fresh, hot and was delivered with speed efficiency and a smile. The staff had no problem ordering anything that was not the menu which shows their willingness to meet and exceed servive and dinning experience.

Unlike most restuarants where they systematically try to chase you out we were allowed to enjoy our meal and let the food settle down before we left. The food was so wonderful we even ordered take away before we finished our meal. This was ready in a bag by the reception area when we were ready to leave. They even gave us a ticket for this so our table was not cluttered. The prices were a little bit more than we would normally pay, but this was okay as it matched the whole experience.

Would highly recommend it for all occassions. Perfect place to share our fifth annivesary together.

Outstanding food beautifully presented and professionally served. This is a place to keep for a special occasion - my wife loved it for her birthday treat. Not cheap perhaps, but there is no way that it could be otherwise, considering the very high standards they maintain.
