Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant was refurbished in 2010, and remains as ostentatious as ever. There are bottles of wine which cost an astonishing £20k, and the two-course à la carte is £55. Head chef Sean Burbidge worked at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, the first restaurant from the temperamental chef. The cuisine is British with French influences, exemplified in dishes like crispy frog’s legs and venison with braised shin and Stilton macaroni.
A central feature of the dining room is the glass enclosure filled with racks of wine, the rest is a more subtle affair in creams and a wall coloured a deep burgundy red.
