From Provençal dishes to Parisian traditions, flavours from across France are to be expected at the new French brasserie in Kensington, South West 7 Restaurant. It is a French dining experience at Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London, serving a traditional brasserie-style menu with ingredients of the highest quality and good value prices for starters start at £8.00 and main courses from £17.00. South West 7 creates authentic and contemporary dishes designed to delight the palate.
The menu has been carefully designed by Head Chef Franck Katemesha and it addresses the authenticity of French cuisine. Starters include a mouthwatering selection; indulgent chicken liver and wild mushroom parfait (£9.00), confit duck croquette (£12.00), tasty and tangy mussels St Malo (£10.00), hearty French onion and cider soup (£9.00) and oysters fines de Clair (£16.00).
There is a more international twist to the main courses which offers tournedos Rossini (£45.00), brochette of monkfish and prawn (£23.00), roast whole sea bass (£26.00) plus a full grill menu as an alternative choice. South West 7 also has dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu, this features tasty dishes such as beetroot and orange salad (£8.00), potato gnocchi (£17.00), butternut squash risotto (£19.00) and ratatouille cassolette (£18.50).
No French menu is complete without a classic offering of crème brûlée, and this is done to perfection, and chocolate fondant (both £9.00).
