The Elysian Restaurant

What a fantastic restaurant! the service was lovely - our waiter was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. the atmosphere feels traditional and cosy, and the food was amazing.

we had the taramasalata and houmous with amazing bread to start, lamb kleftiko (which comes with roast potatoes and veg) which melted off the bone. The food was sublime. Also the cheesecake was amazing..

I would definitely recommed this place to anyone who enjoys greek cuisine.

I am a regular at this restaurant. The food served is delicious,the service is fast and the staff are very polite. The restaurant is family run and I have made very good friends with the family over time. This, in my view is one of the best restaurants in the area.

This restaurant was booked for our work Christmas meal which I was looking forward to. However I am a vegan and the restaurant was therefore asked if they could omit the cheese from the vegetarian meal and provide a fruit salad for desert. The restaurant responded by saying they were not prepared to adjust the menu in any way despite being given several weeks notice. I find this lack of helpfulness unbelievable as I wasn't asking for any elaborate change. Overall I find their attitude very unaccomodating and would not recommend them. If they are this unhelpful in response to a simple request I would be concerned at their general level of service.
