came across this shop by chance whilst on the 6 months stay in London for internship.
wide range of choices for authentic Meditarranean or Turkish cuisine. It's good for late night snack as well as meals.
Tried a few things but the lamb shish kebab will never be beaten by the chicken sharma or the gyros. They roast chunks of raw meat right in front of you and the salad in the kebab is also plenty as they roll it up. The garlic and mint sauce they put into kebab really brings out the flavour of the lamb as well. They have someone especially who kneads the dough and roasts the naan bread as well which ensures that the food is fresh and tasty.
Biting into the kebab, the piping hot lamb and the nice cool salad compliments pretty well with the pungent flavours of the garlic and mint sauce, which makes it excellent as comfort food.
price wise is reasonable, it costs me around 5.5 for the lamb shish kebab and probably 4gbp for the gyros. (this is 2007 price level).
Also it closes quite late (around 2am) so would be good if you wanted to grab some food after clubbing.
The reason why I only gave it 8/10 is beacuse the decor is takeaway style (although they do have a sit in area at the back of the shop and I do find it pricey given myself as a young and broke university student.
Personally i had never tried their Greek food but I 've seen a lot of people coming in for that.
