New Anarkali

The New Anarkali is one of the best Indians in the Molesey area. It should not just be the stop off after a drunken night in the pub - if you want forgettable food, I have plenty of suggestions for you - this is actually food to be remembered! The portions are big here, so best to share your dishes. The vegetarian dishes are especially good here, I love the Sag Paneer - spinach and cottage cheese cooked with spices. I know that sounds like a rank dish but trust me, it's not. If I were you, I would start with a mixture of the bhajis and samosas, then move onto anything from the tandoori oven, get a couple of the dhal dishes, and wipe it all up with some peshwari nan bread. The food is not over oily here, and the dishes are all good value. I usually get the food for a take away, rather than eat in the restaurant, but I pick it up, because they offer a 20% discount on price if you do that, which is pretty substantial
