Along with Jashan turnpike lane, tiffintin Hornsey & jai Krishna Finsbury Park this is one of the best curry houses in the area. Very fresh and delicious food I have reccomended it to many friends

Ignore what the bloke below says. He's an eediot. Best curry house in crouch end by at least 10 Country miles. For the sake of walking a 100 yards past the three ****e Indian restaurants nearer the clock tower, you will not be dissapointed !

Have to agree with the previous reviewer Neyas has gone down hill. I've been to the restuarant and ordered take-aways many times but of late I have noticed a real decline in service and portion size. Times are hard I know but rude staff and shrinking portion sizes aren't the way forward. Plenty of other places to eat in Crouch End - besty avoided.

To be honest, There may be times where you have caught some of my staff off guard when they were not in such a jolly mood as usual. But that does not give you the right to suggest that this is a constant issue. Also the portions of our food has never changed, We advise you compare in however many occasions you wish to be proven incorrect, but we assure that the steps taken towards the preparation of our food will always be to the highest of standards in taste, and size. It is however a shame that you have by the sounds of it had a bad experience one day in terms of poor customer service, we apologise for this and can assure that these incidents are one off's. furthermore, please feel free to request the portions to be slightly bigger if you feel that the original portion no longer fills you up, We definately consider it free of charge. We request everyone to speak their minds honestly with us, either here or by calling us, as we always value your opinion. But we will not accept false accusations. But we will always accept our mistake if we were ever in the wrong and try our best to make it up to you.

We enjoyed many takeaways from Neyas and cannot fault the food at all, but I'm afraid the service is very, very poor and unfortunately after an incident with a staff member are unable to eat their food again. After being overcharged on an order and receiving an incorrect item, we were in touch with the restaurant and amicably agreed credit and a replacement dish for the following week, no problem. However, when we rang the following week, the staff member was not working and instead we spoke with an extremely rude member of staff who not only told us that the mix up was our own fault, that we could not have the replacement dish and if we wanted our money back that we were overcharged with, we could only have it as credit. The manager also refused to compensate us point blank. This may seem like a minor issue, but I feel compelled to write a review because of the way we were spoken to after ordering countless takeaways in the past year- I thought we were a valued customer. We will not be ordered again and urging all friends to do the same. A shame because we like their food. I would recommend anyone who orders food from Neyas to be very careful!! They have zero customer service skills..

It is unfortunate that you can no longer order from us. But where it was your mistake in the first place, you should have been greatfull that we were even willing to give you credit of £5. I am sorry that we found it would to be in our best interest to avoid delivering a £5 note nearly 2 miles away from us, especially when we offered the credit as a good will gesture in the first place (we never owed you that money in cash ever). We gave you the option to have it deducted from your next order, but instead you insisted that you would rather; and I quote " I would rather eat my own ****" - so be it, do as you please but do not blame us because you couldn't maximise your advantages with us.

I think Neyas is wonderful, great food and fab service. The waiters always remember my family and make us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The food is delicious and I am always very satified. I have also had takeaways from here and the portions are generous. Highly recommended and the bring your own bottle is a bonus. Go and try it for yourself!

Other than the over-attentive service at Neyas everything was perfect. The dishes are well cooked and great value. BYO booze makes this restaurant a cheap, delicious night out. Recommended.

Neyas is absolutely fantastic; the staff are attentive without being over-bearing, the food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, plus you save on the fact you can bring your own drink and they don't even charge corkage.

It provides some different options to the run-of-the-mill Korma, Vindaloo etc. with some really different, special dishes.

I'm surprised this place isn't more notorious, we only went there because of a leaflet drop, wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Will definitely go again. Many times.

Having had several good take-aways from Neyas, we decided to take friends there on a Saturday night. The decor is fairly ‘typical’ but very clean and bright. We couldn’t believe that it was empty in there. We stayed anyway and the service was witty and attentive (not surprisingly as we were the only diners) without being intrusive. The food is absolutely superb. It’s bring your own, so amazing value as well. I’d hate for this little gem to fail because too few people visit. In my opinion much better quality and value than Banners or others nearby that seems to have built a reputation for quality they rarely succeed in delivering.

Neyas is the best Indian takeaway in north London by a mile.

Food very tasty & authentic, service is terrific and delivery is quick so the food is still piping hot!

Highly recommended.

Best Indian food I've had in a very long time - highly recommended for takeaways. Cooked from scratch - not the sauce-from-a-bucket fare we're all too familiar with. Staff friendly and very professional.
