My friends and I decided to go out for a nice Indian meal in the heart of London, and thought we'd visit the Warren Tandoori, which was a fabulous choice! We all ended up having a great night, the food was amazing, I would definitely recommend more of my friends to go there..:)

A party of ten went for a lunchtime curry. The booking was welcomed and they were going to open especially for us, so being the only people in the restaurant didn't alarm us. The stale, flexible, popadums and the dirty paper tablecloths should have, but the chicken dishes were bland and Bhoonas, Tikka Massallas and Jal Freyzi's all tasted the same in a very watery sauce. Then all the vegetable dishes arrived after the main courses had been finished. All this and not even cheap. Not an experience we'll be repeating.

I don't know what Angela is talking about. I have had food in Warren Tandoori since 1999. I love this restaurant. If you want the flavour of home made cooking then I recommend this restaurant. I am really surprised to see Angela’s comment about their service. It's not overmuch at all. I think Angela has mistaken traditional and proper Indian hospitality as overmuch. I would recommend Angela to visit other Indian restaurant in that locality. As a regular customer I know the difference. I am very happy with their service level, food and cosy atmosphere.

A big disappointment... positive report impossible: Saturday evening, we wanted a leisurely meal, lovers of Indian food who don't complain. Arrival: 2010, place empty, which remained so. Service: overmuch, and obsequious. The papodums and onion bajias were very good, so we looked forward to our main courses - which were appalling... chicken and prawn curry plus small portions of overcooked pilau rice. Both had identical medium hot sauce, totally lacking in flavour. The restaurant unable to provide chilled still mineral water. Departure: 55 minutes later. Worst evening ever. Never again.
