Greatfood. Consistently excellent cooking in this family business. Not the place for an impressive first date and do not be put off by the exterior. I've been coming here for 25+ year with all my family going themselves. All is wonderful but I like the Lamb Korma, Buryanis, Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Masala, Lassis, Dahls etc. All breads are wonderful and high standard. I've never been keen on the South Indian menu... but should stop ordering the same things I guess. A wonderful place.

I have been going to Geeta for over 25 years, having discovered it when I lived in Kilburn and nobody except a few locals knew about it. Now I live in Wiltshire but still go back as often as I can, usually every 4-6 weeks. I rate this as the finest South Indian cooking I have ever experienced, and I have been around! Geeta remains utterly consistent. The masala dosai is famous of course. But the vegetarian side dishes are amazing and you could make a "menu de degustation" from a selection of these. Of the main dishes, the Kerala fish curry, the lamb kofta, the prawn dansak, and, yes the meatballs (ignore that other review, it's nonsense!). I could go on, but none of the dishes will let you down. The sauces are astonishingly varied and delicious: they enrich and enhance the ingredients but never overwhelm them. The portions are generous (it's easy to over-order). The staff are very friendly but not annoyingly so - you will not be pestered. The lady who runs it is not standoffish at all, but is a slightly shy but charming;y dignified Indian lady, who also makes her own delicious kulfi. Oh yes, the prices are very modest indeed. Buses stop nearby, and it's not a long walk from Kilburn or Brondesbury stations.

I love Geeta. Their Masala Dosai are fantastic - fresh, crispy and filled with a delicious potato and lentil stuffing. Staff are always a delight. Very good value.

I love indian food and have tried many curry places but Geeta's got amazing vegeterian meals and starters.
This place is very relax and it feels like beeing in someone's lounge.
I now live in Paris and have never found a place with dishes like they propose here.

Went out for an Indian, assumed that food would be good due to local competition, severely let down.

Ordered Kofta curry expecting some a lovely lamb kofta kebab in a indian curry sauce, was shocked to recieve processed meatballs looking identical to the Ikea meatballs we eat from time to time. We also ordered a Lamb Tikka Masala. This was nice an spicy (as requested) but it wasn't lamb tikka and the masala sauce was not a thick creamy sauce as I've come to expect.

The only plus point, the rice was seasoned and flavoured well with Cinamon and cardamon.

Very dissapointed, would avoid and take a slightly longer walk and spend a little more at Ruchi on Kingsgate Road, been there a co

I go here mainly for the marsala dosai served with coconut chutney in lemon juice. Its a lovely large starter at considerably less than the other nearby South India places.

Its rather unprofessional and rather like being in someones home than a swish restaurant. The food is mostly cooked freshly to order as home cooking and often by the husband while the slim and often unsmiling wife serves you efficiently if a little cooly.

The menu prices look very low but be aware the portion sizes are very small so dont expect a huge meal for £5 ! Better to understand the dishes are freshly cooked and small so order quite a lot of different dishes. They are all very tasty.

This is a fantastic South Indian restaurant, which is probably one of the most authentic Indian eating experiences I've had in London, having been to India many times. The fantastic vegetarian dishes are an absolute must - and at less than three pounds each, you can try quite a few! Grab some chapattis and go for it!
