If I could give a negative rating I would, unfortunately the lowest I can give is 1 star. The food was very poor in quality and taste. To make matters worse, management were extremely rude and disrespectful. Completely disgusted. Not a good place to eat or spend an evening with family/ friends. Should have known when I saw the restaurant only 20% full on a Friday evening. Definitely wouldn't recommend this to enemy let alone a friend. Plenty of other restaurants in the area to enjoy... I really wouldn't waste my time with Only Parathas.

Having visited only paratha on two separate occasions it is fair to say that the food here is not consistent. We ordered the chilli paneer which frankly tasted more like barbeque paneer than anything else. Aside from that on our first visit we were overwhelmed with the amount of spice (chilli) in our food. The drink that I ordered (lime float??) was far too sour (literally squeezed lime juice) I complained and received the fairly nonchalant response of 'lime is meant to be sour' however it was not in any form consumable (I steered away from it the second time). The service was excellent.

I have just been to Paratha house and I am writing the review straight after returning to home. We were two persons me and my wife. We are below average eaters, just like kids. All we needed was one starter and one paratha. Paratha itself comes with chole (chick peas), dahi raita (a bit sweet yoghurt cream), curry and Paratha. There are plenty to pick from and some of them would make you feel different. The starters are plenty and although there are some options on global food, the place is truely Indian. It is pure vegetarian.

The drinks are not at all expensive compared to other restaurants. My bill was only £10. A paratha is about 4 - 4.5, a starter is about 3.5 and a pint of beer about 3 pounds.

Reading reviews from other sources, I found people complaining about the customer service, I had none. But there was waiting time (half hour for me). The songs are played a bit lound and are Hindi (Indian). In my opinion the place itself would accomodate about 70 to 80 people. The atmosphere is not too comfortable but ok. Overall good value for money and a welcome change as compared with other restaurants.
