I can't praise this restaurant highly enough for its exceptionally friendly and welcoming service; wonderful menu and tasty food; excellent layout (not cramped) and ambiance; proper napkins not flimsy paper serviettes and no time constraints to make way for another sitting. In fact, people were still ordering, as I was leaving at midnight.

Ok.. Let me try and be constructive and not rant here.. It was a Friday evening and we were trying to have the most relaxed evening of the week.We have covered almost all the restaurants in Kings Street now except few. I think the big chandelier kinda scared me off, though dont know why.So we decided to go in this time. There were just 2 groups and we were wondering why since it had much bigger capacity.

We have this weird habit of ordering a wide range of food in less quantity to rate a restaurant better since we are hardcore foodies. So we ordered two types of bread(nan),rice, some curry and a starter. The pappadams came and were salty which is almost general nowadays. so I skip that.. I wait for the starter with all my hunger. After few minutes, came two rolls of meat as kebab(dont exactly rememember which kebab) that was the most dry and juiceless kebab I ever had. Due to the dryness, we struggled cutting it. Though my taste buds dont like it, I comfort them sayin more food is yet to come. Then came my most awaited main course. To cut the chase short, curry was below average in taste, rice had this stale taste and worst of all my breads were burnt. The breads had become bitter due to coal in it. We couldnt eat it. The least they could do was not burn my breads. I feel like going on and complaining bout few impolite waiters. But I somehow feel its unfair to let few random persons' behaviour influence a hotel's rating. But it was the most insincere effort of cooking according to me.
