I was looking for somewhere to grab lunch with my mum when she came up to London and we found this place. I was really impressed and have since been back for dinner. I would definitely recommend it, the food is delicious and the staff are really friendly it's also great for value for money which is always a bonus!!

I've been to The Laughing Gravy twice - once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times, the food was excellent and the service friendly, attentive and efficient.

London is full of over-priced, fancy, pretentious eateries - if you're fed up with them, but expect to eat good food whatever you pay for it, this is a good choice. For the very reasonable price you pay here for food and wine, you can't go wrong.

The atmosphere is relaxed, but stylish.

I'll be back again soon.

The renaissance of this fabulous hidden gem is long overdue. And thankfully, the new owner has got it absolutely spot-on! He has managed to retain its originality and attraction as a favourite neighbourhood bar/eaterie, and the chef definitely knows what he's doing.

The new decor is warm and inviting, as are the staff who are all very friendly as well as utterly professional. There is a staggeringly huge wine list, each one lovingly described. And flowering teas - something new to me but to which I could easily become addicted, served, as they are, in covetable little glass teapots.

The menu is enticing, and the lamb I had was perfect. My companion had the warm salmon salad which looked thoroughly appealing and was delicious. I also saw the very pretty fish en papillote go past and have made a mental note to try it next time.

Yes, I will certainly be going back - again, and again! Well, I need to work my way through the wine list, if for no other reason.

We loved it here!

We got a special offer from the new owners and we're so glad we went - we live round the corner and it's about time we've got a top quality restaurant in the area.

We actually visited this place about three years ago and were less than impressed! But it's been spruced-up big time - the atmosphere and the food are top-notch - the best Welsh Rarebit I have ever had!

Myself, my daughter and a friend have just spent a weekend in London and came across this restaurant when we were searching for a place to eat on Saturday night. Brilliant food, eat your heart out master chef, very good price and friendly service. The helpings were large and the food presented and cooked very well
