A piece of Italy in the heart of the City. How refreshing to be in a non chain with its own ambience delicious food reasonable price and great service. You also get free Italian nibbles with your drinks. A gem.

La Piazzette is an oasis of calm within an hectic, crowded city. As soon as I walked in I felt at ease and was sure that before I left I would be suitably well fed and watered.
And how correct I was! My partner and I both had pizzas the like of which we had not experienced outside of Italy itself.
The wine list was satisfactory and we polished of a reasonable Rioja.
The service was efficient if not flawless.
All in all an experience I shall repeat.
