DREADFUL place - don't go here.
Went to dinner there with my friends last night, we were treated with absolute contempt from the moment we walked in the restaurant. And when we produced a 50% off taste card, the manager was really not impressed. From then onwards, we were treated like naughty little school children, being told that "on no, you can't have rare meat" and stomping wine/menus etc on the table.
The piece de resistance was when I queried how they had worked out the bill, considering our 50% off. He would not listen to me when I was trying to explain that you need to take 50% off the food and THEN add on the wine - so we went through it with a calculator, whilst he was invading my space. At one point I thought I was going to get hit by this man. Then when I politely said I didn't think we should pay full service charge on the full bill, the guy when apoplectic with rage and said he didn't work for 50%. After the way we were treated and the miserable face all evening, we all decided to leave no "optional" service charge, at which point he shouted with rage. As we walked out the restaurant, he shouted after us saying "and never come back here".
As if! It was awful. Food mediocre and the most terrible service I have ever experienced. I have never been so terribly treated.
