Had a business lunch today on a recommendation from a colleague. Well worth it and will certainly go back. Excellent Italian food with big portions, REAL friendly Italian waiters and a nice quieter restaurant to be able to talk without blaring music. Definite 9/10

Had some friends coming over from Italy to stay so was quite concerned about finding somewhere that would be good food but at the same time not break the bank. Heard about La Vigna from some work colleagues who are regulars there and it didn’t disappoint. Very well received by my friends and by me – good authentic food and at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend to others.

Group of over 50 had meal at La Vigna. Overall food was oversalted and most diners I took along seemed to have given this restaurant a thumbs down. Cost was £32 per head for a 3 course with one glass of house wine. Expensive for what was put in front of us. Seasonal green vegetables were bitter. Not impressed with food or service. Will not be going back. Ambience-cafe style and not impressive. Waiter started to have a banter with one of my lady guests when she got up to take pictures of our group during the dinner service. It was clear they could not cope with the group booking of this size. The chicken meal was oversalted, salmon for others was lacklustre. Puddings nothing impressive. Could have enjoyed an ice-cream dessert more at home. Out of courtesy not one of my guests commented on the meal or the restaurant afterwards. Usually, majority say they thoroughly enjoyed going out, but not this time. I felt embarrased with my choice of restaurant. Sorry LA Vigna but this is a fact.

On a shopping spree down Oxford Street and went to La Vigna after reading good reviews on various websites as it wasn't too far away. Hearty meal - SO enjoyed my pasta! - and good for the money - just what I needed to revive me after battling through the crowds. Would recommend to other weary shoppers!!

Had dinner Jan. 10th. Great service, not too bad atmosphere but the food...
We started with "shrimps & Avocado" and an "Eggplant out of the oven". Can't really go wrong there except that the eggplant looked kind of grey and gross and was about the same temperature I expect hell to have. Than we had the "Pollo Loren" and the Swordfish. The pollo tasted so blend it could have been anything, and the structure was nice for maybe a third and the other 2/3's had the substance of a sneaker.

The staff dealt with our complaints by taking the chicken off the bill. However nice, I'd rather have a good meal.

A real favourite of mine and many of the other local businesses. Lovely interior and staff, good food with huge portions and particularly good value for money- still affordable even nowadays.

I returned to La Vigna with my work's Christmas Party as my boss asked me to recommend somewhere- he was very, very pleased with the value for money! Despite it being very busy the service was very attentive, everything arrived quickly and the food was very well cooked.

The waiters were very nice and the place was clean and bright. The ambience was great. Good wine and some free drinks at the end.

Overall I had a good night BUT unfortunately the food was at best below average.

Both starter and main were overcooked, the main course was a tasteless pancake supposed to contain salmon but was at best a salmony paste. The starter of mushooms and bacon was loaded with balsamic vinegar and I couldn't taste anyhting else.

I wouldn't go again unless I just wanted a pizza or regular pasta I doubt any chef can get those wrong.

My husband and I ate in the Vigna on 11th August before a show at the Palladium, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food and wine was excellent, nothing at all to complain about. It's only a 10 min walk to the Palladium. We would recommend La Vigna to anyone who enjoys Italian food .

I went to La Vigna before the theatre and found a spotless restaurant, with very friendly and fast service, ample portions and an extensive wine list. I would fully recommend this restaurant with it's classic Italian flavoursome food as I enjoyed my evening very much.

WOW!! Lovely big portions of fresh, delicious food. I really *CANNOT* stress enough how wonderful the food was, my table had meat, pasta, pizza and fish and I tried it all and found nothing lacking!! Perfect for a large party (I saw two when I ate there) or just for 1 or 2. The prices are very good for the size and quality and there is plenty of room wherever you sit to not invade (or be invaded by) other people. The atmosphere was really cheerful, and the Christmas decorations and mountain of pannetonne really made the evening. The staff were fantastic with a really fast and polite service. Recommended!!

Was taken there for my birthday so I wanted it to be special and I was not let down. The food was excellent and plenty of it, the staff were very helpful and the atmosphere was very lively. It is a very busy restaurant so we had to book ahead for our special night. We even had the manager and the staff sing for me "Happy Birthday" which was very nice. All in all a great night out with great food and wonderful service.
