La Gondola Al Parco

They can improve by getting new management and staff, completely changing the menu & service and basically starting over. It has to be one of the prime locations for a cafe in London and is a complete waste because of the dreadfulness of the whole place.

Took my son here after a nice day in Battersea Zoo. I have to agree with the other reviewers; the food was literally inedible. We ordered a pasta dish that was reheated in a microwave, making the noodles overcooked and crunchy. The service was very poor; the staff just seemed annoyed at me when I brought the noodle issue to their attention. (If I were the proprietor, I would have been mortified and tried to fix the customer's experience.) Their card machine was also not working when I went. I would not recommend this place for anyone unless major improvements can be made.

Just awful, I ordered a Pasta dish which was reheated, however it was cold and inedibile, I should have complained, but could not be bothered as the staff appeared comatose and disinterested, the Pigeons and other various wildlife did not seem to mind it though!!

I took my 7 months old schnauzer to Battersea park and wanted a cup of tea.So I went to the Gondola al parco.I asked politely if one of the three staff who were doing little if they could get it for me as I had my puppy with me.The staff and manager told me they could not do it and that I should tie up my dog to a post and get it myself.Leaving my dog unattended was not an option but never going back there is one for sure...

It's not even a good cafe - staff are offhand, and the choice and quality of food and drinks is the worst I've encountered anywhere. Their coffee is disgusting. They can't even stretch to kit-kats. They should be ashamed.

La Gondola is basically a cafe style restaurant in a park. I found the staff to be unpleasant, the food overpriced and cold.
