San Francesco

Recently moved to London, and found this place on a walk about. I am not too fond of chain restuarants, so went in here and SO glad we found this! Great food, and great service. We will be returning and making it a regular haunt.

We visited San Francesco quite by accident en route to the Theatre Royal to see Rowan Atkinson in "Oliver" on Friday 26 June 2009. The food and wine were gorgeous, the service was second to none, and the zabaglione dessert was to die for. Can't wait to find an excuse to return to London so that we can go back again!

Wonderful. Please don't judge the restaurant by it's exterior. Small, quaint and full of 'ambience', forget the Gordon Ramsay stuff, (although I have eaten at one of his places and it was good) this was far superior.

I stumbled on to this little gem while walking Covent Garden back in 2002. I've made several return trips to London and always make it a point to stop in for lunch or supper. The food, wine, and service are always impeccable, and the portions generous. The desserts are superb. If you love Italian, don't miss it!

Have been coming here for years and no trip to London would be complete without supper and wine at the SanFrancesco. The really cool thing about this place is the owner Italo and the head waiter Joe will treat you like family while you enjoy totally wonderful food and ambiance....there is no place like it!
