It wasn't too long ago I would happily say Japanese Canteen was by far my favourite place to grab a quick Salmon Teriyaki or Pork Katsu. I wander if they got a new chef because for some reason, since the recent smartening up of place it seams to be failing to the wayside. The salmon is now served dry, the chicken is usually a no go because of too much gristle and the other day they had even run out of rice!!!
How can you go from best to worst in 4 months??? I dearly hope they come out of there slump. Although, I’d still recommend you go there at least once in case you catch them on a good day. Such a shame!
