Thought the 3 courses plus a Singapore Sling offer was good value on paper - free to choose your courses from throughout the menu. There were several dishes which sounded great and I was really looking forward to an interesting meal (as a veggie the choice is good). The food however was sadly disappointing.
I had the tropical tempura starter which was soggy and unlike tempura I've had anywhere else. The dipping sauce tasted like plain soy sauce.
Maincourse of vegetarian hot pot was steaming hot and came in a pot - but sadly the liquid was tastless and watery so added nothing to the vegetables.
Tropical fruit salad appeared to be mainly melon with a few tinned extras - agan very disappointing.
I would credit the staff on polite and attentive service. Sadly the kitchen needs attention. I wouldn't make a return visit based on this experience.
