Started by Mohammad Tayyab over 30 years ago, this family run restaurant in historic Whitechapel has grown in size and reputation over the years. Originally a daytime cafe for locals and those in the know, the restaurant finally opened an evening restaurant in an adjoining Victorian pub. The restaurant is decorated in vibrant colours and subtle lighting, balancing the fiery menu and bustling atmosphere.

buzzing atmosphere, speedy service and the food is delicious! you need to try the lamb chops, succulent, juicy and bursting with flavour! my personal favourite! small prawn curry and garlic naan a must! not a restaurant that you can relax after your meal as there customers everywhere waiting to eat! have fun

The only problem if there is any is the wait. But in the end its worth it. The lamb kebabs and chops are grilled the way they should be. Reminded me of the time I ate in Punjab. Very Original. And suprisingly cheap. You could have a decent and filling meal for 2 in less then £30 !

The best Tandoori Mixed grill ever. The Lamb chops are out of this world. It is cheap and is always busy from noon to closure. ENJOY
