I went to Polanka yesterday with some friends (7 adults and 1 two-year-old). We waited for almost an hour for the main course which we found unbelievable. The waitress came to the table after about 45 minutes to apologize for the delay. After 45 minutes! The other one who eventually brought one plate to the table was quite rude. When we wanted to complain to the owner they were lying there was no such a person we were describing. Then one bloke said she'd be in the following day. The food itself wasn't that bad but after having waited for it for almost an hour we lost the appetite.
The customer service in Polanka does not exist. Weare definitely not going back there and would not recommend this place to our friends. We'd been there before and maybe it wasn't that bad, but yesterday was really disappointing.
Polanka is a restaurant that has a delicatessen and also serves a variety of Polish dishes and snacks including chicken, sausages, salads, meat and poultry. A vegetarian and takeaway menu is also provided. Catering for private parties of up to 36 guests is available upon request. They are not licensed to sell alcohol, but guests are invited to bring their own bottles of wine. A non smoking area is provided.
