In april I had my wedding reception in "The Knaypa". The food was adequate. The drinks were too expensive. The room downstairs doesnt fit 40 people there were 30 of us and we were just able to fit. All of our requirements were not fulfilment. It ruined our beautiful day. We were extremely disappointment. We would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The Knaypa is the best restaurant in Hammersmith without any doubts. Their menu is divided into two sections: Modern European and Traditional Polish food which is a great idea as the choice of food is huge and you can either try some typical polish dishes such as pierogi or bigos or you could go for more modern dishes including scallops or tomato, mozarella & parma ham salad. Plenty of polish beers and vodkas. The restaurant is split over two floors, the design of the ground floor really is amazing and unusual: black walls with huge red picture frames, comfortable red leather chairs and black & red tableclothes... The basement part is absolutely different: traditional polish style with wooden tables and chairs, lots of polsih gadgets on the walls & bar, it makes you feel like you were siiting in a real polish tavern. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis especially that the prices are very competetive as for the area (avarage price per person £25-£30)
