Blue & Orange Cafe Bar

This place is a god send to our high street, it's been open for years the food is great, staff friendly over the years I have been many times and always had a good time.

Went for Valentines meal.
Very cosy ambiance.
It was a set menu but they ran out of lamb shank ( was offered an alternative of Loin chops ) and stick toffee pudding.My partner had sea bass and said it was delicious.
All in all a pleasant meal & We would go back.

Only criticism I'd have is the staff are a little.... Moody! Seemed to know some customers and chatted smiled etc! We kind of felt as if we'd intruded on someone's party! Food was beyond reproach though service is a 6 but he foods so good I have to give it 10! CHEF have a word!

A quaint intimate north African feel welcoming staff.

food inexpensive very tasty and fresh authentic flavours great selection of vegatarien dishes as well as meat and seafood. i dont normally eat rice i have not cooked 10/10 for their rice decent size portions i shall be back soon with the girls a girlie night easy to get to buses and train which i used beautiful ambiance loved it. my brother had a great even we were sostuffed all 8 of us

an excellent place to eat in the heart of thornton heath
I was pleasantly surprised at this oasis.
I went along with my 17 year old daughter, who is particularly fussy about food. She thoroughly enjoyed it and ate all that she had ordered.
The service was great and the food was very fresh and tasty.
will definitely be going there again, as the menu choice had a good range of dishes thatneed futher exploration!

I have often walked past this restaurant and never thought about going in. However I was in for more than a pleasant surprise when my mother-in-law took the family out for a meal last night. All of us had a great time, the food was excellent, very reasonably priced, the service was excellent and even my three-year old finished his rice and chicken without any fuss! we will certainly be going back, and this is certainly a jewel among all the other rubbish on the High Street.

Wow came to the Blue & Orange for a pre christmas meal it was fantastic! The food was excellent both in quality and quantity and the service excellent!
I highly recommend this place, I know Thornton Heath isn't the greatest of places but this is a jewel in the rough!!!

Food is tasty and consistant, service is better than you'd expect.
Rate the restaurant 9/10 for being, cheap, tasty and consistant.
Love it.
