Founded in 2005, Taquería serves traditional, regional fillings on soft corn tortillas made daily by our big tortilla machine “El Monstruo”, right here in London.

We make our own corn tortillas for all our tacos plus use fresh and dried Mexican chiles and herbs. We use free-range eggs, chicken and pork, British meat and sustainable fish plus organic milk and double cream. ¡Qué rico!

You can tell a quality Mexican establishment by whether or not they make their own tacos and tortillas – Taqueria do and with a name like that, so they should. Everything is freshly prepared on the premises, the atmosphere is lively and they serve the underrated Mexican lager Pacifico. It’s simple and very effective.

This place is excellent. My husband and I often make the trek from south london just to get some of these fabulous tacos. This is definitely not Tex-Mex or Californian Mexican, this is really Mexican cafe food. We've been many times and taken many friends and everyone always loves it. The food is wonderful, the margaritas are fabulous, and they are one of the few places to offer my husband's favourite Mexican beer - Negro Modelo. The service is always great and they don't laugh at you when you make a go at pronouncing the names. They also have a nice selection of authentic spices and harina masa etc to buy so you can try your luck at home.
