Without a doubt, the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. After 30 years of eating Thai food both in Thailand and Europe, I have never experienced food with as little flavour as that served by Mudmee. The chicken starters were bland and tasteless, the satay never having met with a marinade of any kin

Just had lunch there with my son. The service was quick and friendly and the food was the best I've had in ages. It's one of these restaurants that you want to go back to again and again.

My wife went here on a works night out and came home raving about it, so much so she dragged me along the following evening.
There was no exaggeration to her enthusiasm. The food was fresh, fragrant and of a high standard. The green curry in particular, and the pad thai was delicious.
A very pleasant atmosphere and setting, staff were attentive they knew when to approach and when to leave us to chat after each serving.
We have found a new jewel in our best places to dine out. Will definately return, and thanks to my wife and her workmates for finding this gem tucked away.

The food is delicious and so well priced. All curry dishes are excellent as it the Pad Thai. The service is really good and they are just really nice.

Food:
The food at this place is amazing. If you like Thai food you must try it when in the area. All the dishes have a fresh and aromatic quality - as all good Thai food should. Try the seafood noodle soup - spicy, warming and filling. Pad Thai is superb - fresh ingredients, lots of different tastes and textures that work as a balanced whole.

Ambience:
The restaurant is well decorated with a contemporary Thai look and it is very clean and inviting.

Service:
The staff are efficient and polite. This isn't a restaurant to dally in but rather a swift, reliable lunch or dinner.

Value:
Excellent! Main courses are between £5-10 and a two course meal with a tea comes in at around £30 f

i loved this little place! tucked away down a secret alley near liverpool st, we stumbled across it by accident and had a near perfect meal. the food was fresh, beautifully prepared, of a good size (ie: when ordering prawns there are loads of prawns, not just 4!) and excellently priced. even the house red was a delightful drop - and at £10.50 a bottle - well, how can you go wrong?! the staff were very busy, but we never felt unattended or forgotten. the decor is simple but lovely. all in all - top shelf! simple and delicious.

I found this little restuarant great and very reasonable. I love thai food and the menu here is quite large and will have something to satisfy most thai food lovers. the service is good and not over the top and its location in artillery passage is interesting in itself. Overall i recomend this as a place for a good relaxed meal.

Whilst wandering 'mongst the heady jacarandas, tripping 'tween the petal-filled rockpools of artillery passage, E1, we approached Mudmee to replenish our liquids and fill our bellies with the fresh and fragrant food for which this tropical corner of London is so famed. Whether 'twas the sizzling humidity in the air, or the thick exotic pollens that were riding on its waves that clouded my mind i do not know, when i decided upon a minced chicken salad. As a salad of minced chicken, vinegar and fork, my minced chicken salad made me feel sick and angry. please sign my petition against sloppy usage of the word salad at www.sickandangry.org.uk, and let's see if we can't make a difference.
