Book a live performance for someone shielding

Bring some joy to gardens and care homes

Where: World Harmony Orchestra

Shortly after the UK's first lockdown began, a social enterprise called the World Harmony Orchestra began organising socially distanced live performances for people who were shielding from Covid-19, with the aim of preventing isolation.

To date around 100 of these have taken place, with one or two musicians from their ensemble playing in gardens, care homes and other healthcare settings where possible. The 'Cuppa Concerts' so-called because the musicians bring their own cup of something to do a socially distanced ‘cheers’ with the audience, are free or pay-what-you-can.
