Where: around London
Many citydwellers discovered a love of walking during recent lockdowns, but this has always been the best way to see London.
The London Loop is a circular walk that takes you around the edges of the capital, split into 24 parts between Erith in south east London right round to Purfleet just north of the Thames.
The walk has been devised to go through picturesque green spaces and past sites of interest, while all the start and finish points are easy to get to on public transport - with a total length of 242km, it is not suggested you tackle this all in one go.
