Alan Yau, who founded Wagamama, Busaba Eathai and Hakkasan among many others, came up with the novel idea of a Chinese gastropub. It may look like a classic Victorian pub, but the menu has Chinese crowd-pleasers including dim sum, pork belly, sweet and sour pork ribs, and five spice fried chicken.
As with most gastropubs, the ground floor is the bar area with a wide range of beers and bar snacks, while the first floor serves as the restaurant. The on-trend music playing in the background comes courtesy of Soho Radio.
