Eat in the dining room of the Titanic (sort of)

Sail back in time...

Where: Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel

If you've ever been curious about what the Titanic looked like on the inside, pay a visit to the Kimpton Fitzroy where the restaurant is believed to be almost identical to the dining room of the ill-fated ship. Charles Fitzroy Doll was the architect responsible for building the hotel, and deliberately based the ship's eatery on its restaurant. A further connection is that several of the ship's passengers stayed here before embarking on the doomed journey. Originally opened in 1898, the hotel has been faithfully restored to its turn-of-the-century style, with standout features like ostentatious chandeliers and marble floors.
