Where: Monty’s Deli – 76 Druid Street
Street food has taken over London with the likes of burgers, chicken wings, burritos and hot dogs combining to up our fatty intakes. Now it’s the turn of salt beef and pastrami to get in on the act as we predict big things for Monty’s Deli.
Invested in a range of what they call ‘Jewish Soul Food’ the Bermondsey Street outfit serve a mouthwatering range of sandwiches and other Jewish classics. Think slow-cooked, two-day chicken soup, Reubens, pastrami on rye and plenty of pickle, sauerkraut and coleslaw.
